College and HS students...What classes are you taking this semester?
Alright, I'll start.

I've got a microcomputer design class, a C++ programming class, communicatication theory, and microbiology...I may end up taking one more (probably electromagnetic fields and waves, which I heard is really tough)...This should be a crazy semester. I think it's goin to be tough. My hope is to graduate in the spring...

What about you?

1. High School Student here...
My first tri will consist of...

English (AP Course level)
World History (AP Course level)
Honors Science (Physics)
Teachers Aide
Advanced Algebra2 (Honors Class)
Advanced Band (Alto Saxophone)

Then I have Cross-Country Practice till around 6pm, which sucks. I used to be (Freshmen and Sophomore years) JV and therefore only ran till 5pm. But now, with my Varsity positions comes more responsibilities...

I guess I'm just gonna have to drive on through it all!

6. Thanks
I'll need it. With Varsity Sports and Classes, I am going to have my hands seriously tied over the next 3 months. The good news is my second tri is easy (my hard stuff is packed into 1st and 3rd tri. One Honors and then some easy-A's like PE, Teachers Aide, etc. YAY! The light at the end of the tunnel is only 1 trimester away...

similar to one I had in HS. Except no AP in Enlgish and replace Chemistry for Physics. I played the trumpet in band. :P I could not play a woodwind instrument if my life depended on it.

Algebra II is a breeze...I got a 108 for the year..lol

I am not great at Math (ok, I suck) but If I work on it I think I can pull of an A in there. History and English are my specialties. Last year, I slept in class much of the time and I pulled off a 105 in history and a 102 in English (The Teachers said as long as I knew the material and had over 100%, they were not gonna get all pissy about it, lol)

10. I would suggest
taking all the math you can in highschool. Preferably 4 years if you are choosing a college major that requires a heavy load in math. If you take Calculus, then college-level math should be a piece of cake. That is until you get to Linear algebra and Discrete mathmatics :wow:

When that happens..let me know and I'll say a prayer for ya..lol

Bulk up on everything (math included) in High School and spare yourself some sanity in College!

"Linear Algebra"......"Discrete Mathematics" Oh god :scared: That does not sound pretty. Hell, I am still trying to figure out when they put letters in Math  lol
