- The singer and guitarist had a child to profit from a local government initiative to boost population. They used the money to buy contact lenses. The guitarist then left the singer for another band member.

- The band date their history back to the birth of that child.

- The bassist and drummer were brothers-in-law having married twins.

- The bassist divorced his wife in order to marry the other singer in
what was likely pop music's first gay marriage.

- As a side project, the band also doubled as part of a jazz
orchestra.

- The band owned an art gallery, poetry bookstore, record label,
radio station and publishing house.
