What is the outlook on Ivan right now?

As far as I know, Ivan is near Jamaica with 150 mph winds. It has weakened somewhat since Grenada, but I think the warm waters near Jamaica and Cuba will keep it fueled long enough for it to wreak havoc in Florida.
What is the current meterological outlook on Ivan? Is there any possibility it will be upgraded again?

Yes it could get stronger and it could also get weaker. What would make it stronger is the warm water in the gulf which is warmer than any in this part of the world. What would make it weaken is going over cuba and wind sheers which can break down the organization of the storm.

I have been following the latest storm news. I am normally not a weather guy, but this is becoming a very, very tragic season for Florida and the carribean.
