1. Oh, sure, The Prisoner is fun to watch, but
how would YOU like to be restricted in what you can do and where you can go and what you can say and who you can vote for and... er... um... hmmmm....

On second thought, never mind...

BTW, who is Number 1?

2. Do you remember a program called "The Baron"?
Edited on Fri Sep-10-04 07:18 PM by greatauntoftriplets
I was pretty young when it was on, so it may have been before your time. Great program.

I really had the hots for Steve Forrest. As I searched for info on the program and Steve, I learned he was born in 1924 and would be 80 now! Yikes. But he was HOT.

edited for stupid typo.

I didn't think you would....
...but it fits the genre you are talking about.

I wonder if Steve Forrest is even alive these days.

10. If you're near a Fry's
they're all there in the Box-Set DVD section. I haven't looked, but they might actually be available through their online store-- they have the most complete DVD section in their stores I've ever seen!

ya done fergot my favortite Brit tv show - the obscure, but swashbuckling, "Sir Francis Drake". Only aired in the U.S. for a few months in the 60's, but I loved it. Beat the hell out of our own goofy programming.

11. This is why I love BBC America
Well, and it lets me get my Blackadder, AbFab, and Monty Python fixes as well. :) BTW, there was a really great episode in the third season of the cartoon ReBoot that was an homage to The Prisoner. It was one of the best episodes they ever did. Here's a synopsis:
