GOPisEvil is a helluva guy (aka the end of my car saga)

I posted earlier that I was having a crappy day because my car died this morning. Well, when I got home from work this afternoon it was so dead that the power locks wouldn't even work.

So, GOPisEvil to the rescue. He picked me up, we took the old battery out, went and got a new one, put it in, the car runs again, and all is (somewhat) right with the world.

It brought home to me yet again how special the people on this board are and how much I value the friends I've made here. But in particular I just wanted to say nice things about my boy GOPisEvil. Thanks bro for helping. You're a helluva guy. :)

7. I got it in very good shape

but I'm torn between taking it back to the original specs or doing the 289 V8 conversion. The V8 would be very cool but kind of a death trap. MG's are very light. Your in Texas right?

Makes sense that there's a kit. The aftermarket is making things simpler and simpler these days.

Even with the stock engine, those MG's had some decent pep.

though I did appreciate the help with the repair end of things. Without the ride I would have been walking back and forth to Pep Boys with a battery. That would have been NOT fun. I would have been most irritated and would now be on my way to being a cranky drunk instead of a happy drunk. :)
