1. i hate copycat threads
they just fill the forum up with garbage, and threads that people might have put a lot of thought into get lost, and that isn't fair

4. I dislike them both
Cause I can see why people copycat, cause their bored or wish to annoy, and why people get annoyed, because they're disruptive.

6. A great many of the original threads
are far more annoying than the copycats. But complaints about copycat threads are second only to ubiquitous, overlapping WERE THE DOCUMENTS FORGED? threads in sheer annoyingness.

8. Oh, I totally agree.
Copycatting can be a hoot. It's especially fulfilling when your copycat surpasses the original thread in number of posts, and then someone's copycat of your copycat surpasses THAT. The shit makes me laugh my fool ass off, sometimes.

Someone called you a drunk? THAT'S good stuff!

Wait - that wasn't me, was it?

9. its about the copycatter next to you
The copycaters you copy with become like something more than a brother or sister :D. You know what Ive been parodying right. I am basically talking about the bonds we got copying that guys get in war. Yeah someone called me a drunk, what happened was, we were arranging a copy-cat thread, because someone said they were drunk, and I said hey post a thread that says I am drunk, well I was taken literally, they said I was, and people believed I was drunk.

10. Copycat threads are essentially harmless
A lot of them are really funny, and I've always figured they sort of just come with the territory.

I also don't think you're gonna find many exceptionally meaningful or important threads in the lounge (not that there aren't any here, just that it consists mostly of people socializing), so not *that* many threads are really being pushed back.

But I'm still kinda new, so maybe I'm totally off base here.

Thats what the lounge is, its social time, dirty jokes, boobies, etc. :toast: for getting the point, copycat threads are a way of lounge life.
