9. Interesting choice of words

"house" and "broken." Ferrets are very curious, and sometimes very destructive, critters. My last one destroyed every sofa and recliner owned by my family during its lifetime by crawling inside and ripping out all the padding. Chewed a hole through the dryer vent and moved outside for a couple of days one time, too. Moved back in when she got hungry.

As far as the litter box training, I hear it's been done, but not here. Festus is in his 4-story fart townhouse 20 or so hours a day, and has the run of the house the rest of the time. He plays well with both of our dogs. He tends to shit where he wants to. That kinda sucks. At least with my last fart, we had a german shephard mix who would follow her around and, er, clean up after her. Not so much luck with our current canines. Which is good, I guess, since they're both very kissy dogs.
