Do the women of DU agree with Elaine?

Do you see more aesthetic appeal in a woman's body, even if you are sexually attracted to men?

1. I can agree with that, to a lesser extent.

It's rare I notice a good-looking guy...it usually takes a conversation, or some sort of other non-visual connection, for me to find a man attractive. Which I suppose bodes well for friendships and long-term relationships.

But, I've been noticing the beauty of the female form lately, in its various shapes and configuations and sizes and colors.

OK, I've just been a bit of a horndog lately, and there's already a man around the house. Sue me.

But I wonder if some of that is because of the nature of our culture/advertising to make the female form seem mysterious, ethereal, etc., and the male form as bold and blatant.

Our culture has long draped a certain mystique over the female form. Even at its crassest - ala Britney Spears - they are still peddling that mystique.
