Just saw a "Buy One get One Free" CAR commercial!!!
If that doesn't indicate how low our economy is, and how desperate we've become, I don't know WHAT does!!!

6. thanks
i just got the word that my beloved old mercedes is on her last legs. she will probably last for 6 more months or so, but she just got her LAST big repair. so i am kinda looking for a new car. i could actually afford a new new car for the first time in my life. this would be great, cuz i got 2 teenagers about to start driving, and that is the number one reason i don't want to get a new new car.

9. yeah, that's the plan
i love her very much, and was resisting letting them drive her.(heidi is her name) but now that mike has given the sad prognosis, i probably will. she is everything you could want in a teen mobile- big, safe, good handling, gas guzzling, ugly, rusty, perfect for them.

4. the car market is in the shitter
thanks to the Bush economy. High fuel prices, poverty, unemployment, increase in living costs, decrease in wages/overtime,

well Arnold says if that bothers you then you are economic girly men. Suck it up Faggots! Don't mind me and my 6 Hummers! (I think he actually has more than that)

7. Up here in Central Maine, I think there might be 200 used car lots
within a 50 mile radius. In my town of 3000, I'll bet there are a couple of thousand used cars available to purchase. I think there is a huge secondary used car market that must be very static. I don't know why people would get into this business....I see more and more used car lots popping up every day. Seems like a losing strategy, the investment of buying them, holding them (losing value the longer they sit), and selling them in a buyer's market.

I think we are awash in cars.....many more cars available than people to drive them.

10. i suspect the growth in charity donations
might have something to do with it. that is how a lot of the older cars around here get to the small dealers.
