1. I WENT to Notre Dame! Are you avoiding the game for the same

reason I am? They will really stink this year. They not only need to get rid of Ty, they need to do some shaking up in the school administration and start taking football seriously again!

What dorm do you live in? I live in Holy Cross, which was across the lake, but has since been torn down. Condemned, I guess!

2. Yeah, I walked by the Holy Cross Dorm plaque last year on a trip

to see where Carrol Hall is - ANd I totally agree with you - I like Ty as a guy, but he's just not very tough when it comes to football.

I'm partially skipping because I know it's going to be a blowout of a game, and also because I stayed up way too late Thursday night writing a theology paper and now I'm paying the price with the worst sore throat I've ever had in my life :( I might have to go to the infirmary to check for strep later on.

Oh yeah! I live in Knott Hall - It's a guy's dorm now, after Flanner Hall got turned into an admin building - We're the JuggerKnotts, instead of the KNott Angels that the girls were.

3. Knott Hall? That must be fairly new. I stopped by the campus this

January while you kids were away. Very different from my time.

Nothing against Ty, and I had nothing against Davie--their's is a no-win situation until--like I said--they start taking football seriously again.

4. It makes me nostalgic for the era

of Joe Kuharich and Hugh DeVore. I was at ND when Ara Parseghian arrived. The entire student body went to welcome him on the steps of Walsh hall. I admire Ty Willingham, but he has really dug himself a hole and he won't be getting many more blue chip recruits with the current losing streak.
