I just became the Vice-Precinct Chairman in my precinct!

I went to go help out cutting some campaign literature at my local Dem HQ and I asked who my precinct chairman was because I never heard of him. They said he hasn't done very much and asked me if I'd like to be Vice-Precinct Chairman and I said "sure!" They gave me a guide and they're going to make up little business cards with my e-mail address and phone number so I can go door-to-door and make myself available. Is this okay? What else do I do? I'm planning to also register voters withing the next 3 weeks as much as I can. We are also going to go to some nursing homes and re-register those who need to! I'm so excited!:bounce:

4. get your walking lists for the neighborhood, stock up on voter reg

forms, call the Kerry campaign and get his handouts, talk to any dem candidates in your district and ask them for lit.

get a legal sized clipboard and put a "Kerry" sticker on the bottom of it (so it can be read by the person you are talking to)

take the lists and break them down into 4-6 block sections and map out when you can do them (evenings and Saturday mornings are best to catch people at home) If you need a "script" PM me

be sure to dress up like a "patriot" red white and blue, flags, hats with candidate stickers etc so folks won't think you are a sales person or a religious person

start knocking on doors and HAVE fun! see below----

I am a Precinct Delegate here in Michigan.

Mostly we have been phone banking, walking door to door, distributing lawn signs etc.
