My children are weird.
Joe (my 9 year old) just yells, "Mom, Christian (my 6 year old) is wearing my dentures!" :wtf:

3. It's was their father's fault!
:P

He let them watch that Beavis and Butthead movie this Summer. They all go around doing "Cornholio" impersonations too.

6. They always do.
They're #1. I just go back and forth here, but we hang together, talk, etc. if I'm on. I'm a multi-tasker all the time. Keeping busy keeps me sane right now. :)

10. Someone I know was at a funeral parlor,
and their kid went up to people and said, "You know, this is a very popular place. People are dying to get in here!"

Sick, but funny at the same time. :D

13. That sounds like my boys too.
Except they'd whisper it (reasonably decent manners in public) and I'd sit there biting my tongue as not to laugh.

12. Well, there's worse than weird!
15 minutes before the end of the day on Friday, ending a very happy, successful, first week of school, 3 of my 32 9 year-olds came to me in tears. One girl, two boys, all crying. Why?

<cute, innocent-looking little girl>: "They called me a $3 ho!" <sob, choke, sob>.

<cute, innocent-looking little boys>: "We said a bad thing to her cuz she said we think in our sleep about having sex with (other girl in class)." <red-faced, ashamed, teary, and outraged.>

And it was such a good week. <sigh>

14. Oh man!
Sometimes I swear they pick up this stuff at school or on the bus. Once they hear it though, they tend to repeat these things. BTDT. :(

17. It's pretty pervasive in our culture.
There's really no way to keep them from it unless you lock them up and throw away the key, and turn off the electricity. The trick is to get them to see some cultural "norms" as not the norm they want for themselves!

15. Well Nate is going around saying "BIT! BIT! BIT!" and hitting the table
All because mommy was driving, someone cut her off and she yelled out "bitch!" and hit the steering wheel. Of course he had to pick up that word.
