My budget is IKEA.
Actually, I have refinished a lot of things myself. It's amazing what one can do on a budget with a bit of creativity and hard work.

5. Second-hand, yard sale, and stuff the neighbor left at the curb
Plus a few eccentric items like the rocking chair made of square wooden blocks in alternating dark and light wood strung together on clothesline that we got cheap because the store couldn't sell it to anyone else.

The result is actually a lot more harmonious than you'd think, because we work really hard at finding stuff that fits in. But there isn't a name for it.

11. Scandinavian Modern..not really IKEA
There is a certain style that isnt really IKEA that I like alot. Danish modern....wood and woven plain fabrics.

The people who lived in my house before used to get the catalog, that's how I even found out about it.
If I had the money I'd be all over that.


I do like IKEA too...not so much for furniture though.
