4. Being independent enough to say that

you don't like something, don't agree with something, think something is wrong, etc. is not whining. Calling disagreement whining is a blatant attempt to suppress dissension. And it leads to just the opposite; indignant determination to speak more, and louder, regardless of the topic. Just my independent opinion.

If this is a GD'04 pissing contest, I wouldn't know; haven't been there in a while. Mainly because I get sick of the perpetual cycle of tantrums between the "we're perfect, we know what we're doing, nothing's wrong, shut up" folks and the "everything that happens is dooming us" folks. GWB is obviously still a divider; we can't at this point be honest about our campaign and candidates' strengths and flaws and still maintain civility. :shrug:
