Biggest football town/city
I know in Cleveland we pride ourselves in our love for football (although I don't consider it such a huge thing), I was wondering what you all think is the number one football fan town/city?

3. But since I live in C-Town
I have to say between Ohio State and the Browns, Cleveland fans are pretty passionate about football.

11. Western PA
My cousin (somewhat removed) came from New Castle. He also played for Penn State and then off to the big leagues. His name was Ted Kawalic.

12. Massillon is the correct answer.
EVERY newborn baby boy receives a football from the freakin' high school boosters club.

I watched "Go Tigers" with my wife. She was amazed. I said "eh -- that's Massillon for ya."

10. I don't know but DC can be a challange to Green Bay
Man, I moved here 8 years ago and they sucked pretty much the entire time but they are CRAZY about the Redskins around here.

I cannot take the Redskins propaganda in the local DC media!

The team can suck but they are always acting like they are going to win the Superbow.

13. Green Bay...
I am so happy that I am going to my first game at Lambeau this year -- Monday night after Thanksgiving. What a great November... it starts with Kerry winning in a landslide and ends with me in green and gold eating brats! Ain't life grand...

I've only been to one game there, but it is truly incredible.

23. Only been to Texas once
About a month ago, so I really don't know. I know a woman down there and the yap yap yap about high school football tends to make me think it's pretty big there.
The Cowboys had some great years and maybe that is what makes Dallas a big football town.

27. Escalon, CA
Not really but this town is comprised mainly of Portuguese and Dutch dairy farmers. There is a growing population of long range Bay Area commuters. Anyhow, they are a small school power. A recent quote from their head coach was something to the effect of, we can not wait to play in the big game and look in the stands and see the whole town up there. For a lot of these kids football is their only chance to get off the dairy. Go Cougars.
