Bill Press is going to be speaking at my school

I just read on my school's website that Bill Press will be giving a lecture at my school on Tuesday night that will be broadcast live to 300 other campuses nationwide. The admission is free and it is first come, first serve, and he will be holding a book signing after. However I don't think I can make it because I might have practice that night...oh well

I really like him! He moderated one of the Democratic Debates and was just terrific. He must have a great many interesting stories to tell, having met all the movers and shakers in the Democratic Party. And I really like "Buchanan and Press," though I find myself totally agreeing with Pat Buchanan, these days. I never thought that I'd feel this way since I used to loathe the man. But he has condemned the war in Iraq, since the beginning, and disagrees with Bush* policy, calling it Imperialism, a policy that is not going to work in the Middle East and is inciting violence against Americans and causing destabilization of the region. I think his book is called "Where the Right Went Wrong."

2. You haven't said if you're going to go

I certainly would make a point of it, but I live in the boonies and no one ever comes here. So much is going on, right now, politically, that I would take advantage of every opportunity. While you're at it, tell Bill Press that we'd love to see him in Northern NY State.:shrug:
