Six Feet Under season finale..

I wont spoil it for those on the west coast..

so all I will say is "Wow!"

Talk about a really crappy season really turning around in the last few episodes.. man oh man.

My faith in SFU is somewhat restored now. (Although it may never fully reach it's former glory, the last few eps have had at least a little of the magic that made me love the show so much)

1. I thought this season was every bit as good as the others

lead in story where the born again Christian housewife was chasing the pornographic dummies to embrace the rapture.

5. I just watched the whole first season on DVD

I am completely fucking hooked. I have yet to see season 2 and 3. I can't imagine. but the first season was just awesome to me. I never paid attention to this WHEN i did have HBO(?) or whatever cable channel it is on. I havent had cable movie channels (except IFC) in awhile..

6. Wow is right!

I mean... wow. Awesome finale, all the way around, with each character.

By the way, I thought this was the best season of SFU yet, but since its my absolute favorite show, I'd probably say that even if it really did suck.

I can't wait for the west coasters to watch it so we can talk about it!!

7. The BEST episode all season - it blew my mind!

Beautifully directed by Alan Ball, too. Wow - I think I might have to watch it again!

.. an agonizingly long time like last time... but that makes it all the more sweet.

It takes time to create that kind of magic.

I can't wait though! I like the fact that they accomplished *both* wrapping up alot of the ongoing plot lines, yet setting things up for an interesting next season with enough open items to be interesting. (i.e. George)

10. One thing bothers me....

And I don't think this is a spoiler since it's been ongoing all season, is how Claire seems to be increasing her drug use by a factor of five with each episode.

I know a lot of arty types like her, and most of them are pretty adamant anti-any drug but pot since it fucks up their creativity.

Just seems like since they've put the rest of the family through so much shit they're speeding up her drug problem so someone else can have the patented Fisher Family Breakdown Scene.

11. But you also have to admit...

There are a lot of artists who wouldn't be anything without their drugs. After Stone Temple Pilots got off drugs, they sucked, for example.

14. That episode where David was carjacked turned the entire season

around in a major major sense!!!
