And how Bush killing hundreds of thousands of innocent people is better?! I'm really frustrated.

1. I believe that term is thrown at him since he is for protecting
a woman's right over her reproductive health.

2. Let me see if I can explain...
Pro-life only means pro-fetal life.

Jailbirds don't count.

Swarthy peoples in countries we don't like don't count.

Soldiers fighting said swarthies don't count.

Get it? /sarcasm off

4. Plus, as soon as a child draws in the first breath
it's ignored by the "compassionate conservatives".

5. Clump of cells = baby.
Tens of thousands of actual people = collateral damage.

Naturally.

6. I have heard of some Christians for Bush
Paratrooping into Iraq to protect fetuses from collateral damage -- they felt obligated to walk the walk.

8. Are you serious?
Do they protect post-womb people or just the fetuses?

9. Neither
There were no paratrooping Christians. And, they have no qualms about killing non-Xtians nor their fetuses. It was wishful thinking that my fellow X-tians were thinking.

7. And I almost forgot...
It's like the fact that I don't drink beer, but I would not support legislation to prevent others from drinking beer. That makes me a lush, right?

10. rationality and the law seem to have no effect
on the cognitively limited. If they did care for all life, it would make some of their thinking more palatable... well barely.

I think it is a meme. Like my button says, Blame Clinton, it's easier than thinking. :)

11. It's actually quite simple
Edited on Mon Sep-13-04 12:26 PM by EstimatedProphet
Bush is annointed by God, and is therefore infallible.
Whatever bush says is therefore the Truth, and is incontestible.
So, since Our Lord Bush has had thousands killed, it must be a good thing. and since Kerry opposes Our Lord Bush, all things that Kerry says or does are automatically Evil, since Kerry must be working against god by opposing God's Own Messenger on earth. Therefore Kerry is a babykiller, and drinks the blood of virgins.
Think I'm being cynical? Remember that Falwell has publicly said that all true christians have an OBLIGATION to vote for Bush. The psychoChristians truly believe that Bush is the second coming.

A fetus is sacred.

The thousands killed by gun violence every year are not.

The thousands killed (and who knows how many more yet to be killed) in shrub's war are not.

The people dying on our own streets because they cannot afford to live, while millions go to the war industry, are not.

When a human being is in the womb it is sacred. After it is born it is crap and anything goes.
