Michael Stipe? He's smart, good looking, liberal and the lead singer of my favorite band. What more could you ask for?

Maybe my girlfriend and I could share him...

1. No love is ever wrong dude
I'm sure Michael wouldn't mind either if you get my drift. ;-)

2. I think your girlfriend wouldn't be
all that enticing to MS. I'm sure she's lovely, but I think he's come out in the last couple of years. Not that you can't love him... I love Ellen and Kate Winslet (Holy Smoke did it for me) and my husband seems to be OK with it.
I love MS too - he is the coolest of cool.
:)

6. He did come out a few years ago.
I've seen REM twice, once in Atlanta for Monster and again in Raleigh, NC for UP. When they were walking off stage at the end of the stage Michael walked up to Mike Mills and put his arm around his shoulders and kissed him on the cheek. It's really heartwarming to see that kind of display of affection between two friends. That's one of the reasons I like REM. They've stuck together for so long and they are truly friends.

I'm glad Micheal has become so politically active of late. People with his charisma can use their fame to do good things. I'm proud of him.

10. Yeah, I know...
Wrong wording. I'm glad to see him coming out against Bush. REM has been very active on many political fronts. I'm not really that ignorant. I just seem that way.

Must...pull...head...out...of...ass...

3. There's something about nerdy men that does it for me.
I know what you're talking about. I'm female and straight, and I know exactly what blue is talking about. :)

5. I used to have a Michael Stipe poster.
He's hot (especially when he used to have all that hair in the 80's). Plus, you'd have a better chance with him than I would as a strait woman. I say give Michael the love no matter what. :)

8. I knew a straight guy who said he was "Johnny Depp gay".
Meaning he wasn't gay, but would get it on with Johnny Depp.

11. i find it attractive when a straight person
can gush about or love an unrelated member of their gender. to me, it proves they are confident about themselves.
