Favorite Kerry/Edwards Soundbite?
For me, the upside of a negative campaign is that we get to hear Edwards talking about the "tired ol' hateful politics of division" a lot. I just love the way he says "tired ol' hateful." Brings a tear to my eye.

What's your favorite soundbite?

C ya,

4. Well, today Edwards asked...
"What planet are these guys livin' on?"

(He was referring to Cheney's Ebay comments....)

5. Frankly, this obscure thread is troubling for John Kerry
More than one hour and no one has posted a single favorite John Kerry sound byte, in a campaign that has lasted more than a year. You have 4 mentions of Edwards to none for Kerry.

We lose the sound byte war on the network news and cable channels virtually every night. Many DUers attribute that to bias, but it's at least equally true Kerry does not provide much that's brief and memorable.

7. From Kerry's convention speech:
"I'm going to tell you something that Franklin Roosevelt never had a chance to say: go to johnkerry.com."

I was watching the speech with some friends, and that line had us all rolling.

Incidentally, my three friends who watched with me were mostly humoring me to begin with, but after the speech they grudgingly admitted that they really liked what Kerry had to say and were probably going to vote for him. This reinforces my belief that it's extremely difficult for somebody who has actually heard Kerry talk to repeat the various inaccurate information that is spread about him.

But I guess I'm a bit biased, bitter partisan of the left that I am.

Favorite soundbite that isn't intended to be funny: "America can do better." That says it all right there.

Also, "help is on the way" is a good one
