I too am a pretentious Pitchfork whore; as soon as I saw their glowing review I ran to the band's website to pick up some tracks and I will be purchasing the CD tomorrow. It'll be tough to fit it in; I'm already getting the new Decemberists single and Faint album tomorrow, but I'll manage.

they value their opinion way more than it's worth and tear things down just for the sake of doing so.

This BLOWS. I can't get the damn streaming audio to play. :(

I will look for MP3's of it somewhere so I can at least sample it and if I like it it will be in my CD collection eventually.

I can't get the streams to work either, but I downloaded the MP3 for "Wake Up" from the first site. I really liked it. Unique, theatrical sound (to borrow from the review). I wish you could buy the album as an MP3. I listen to everything on my computer or with my little MP3 player. I guess I need to get a CD ripper.

There wasn't enough of the first track to form much of an opinion, but the second track sounds like a really cool cross between Sonic Youth and Talking Heads. Yeah, I think it could really grow on me.
