It's a kind of wartish thing on his upper left lip.

The color is unobtrusive so it doesn't always show.

years ago I overheard my 13 year-old son and his friend discussing "women" and who is hot and whose not:

Gawd, I thought forever we would only talk about mundane crap like 1k soldiers dead in Iraq, DU killing more troops and civilians, the economy, Enron and all the other corporate crime, the environment, social policies. is ok, but he should work more on his mouth positions. Not let his mouth hang open so much, not let his tongue stick out while he is talking. That's the distracting thing, unless he wants to be the puppet on Conan Obrien with the sliding mouth.
