1. Blech
Same mannerisms, same everything no matter WHAT character she's playing.

Sorry you go right ahead loving her. Pretend I wasn't here!

4. Not at all, not at all
just think she's a fairly horrid actress and wonder how she got as far as she did.

Now she's not a bad looking lady. But I generally turn the channel if she is on. I liked the movie As Good as it Gets, but if they had cast someone other than her, I would have LOVED it!

7. What is it like five miles high?
Snicker. Really it's her acting that grates on my nerves. I liked MAd About You (my first real exposure to her) for ONE season. One.

The characters were too whiny and her hand gestures....urg.

BTW, I can do a good Helen Hunt impersanation. I can do her voice and those same five hand gestures she uses in every role. Oh and the same five facial expressions.

Julia Roberts is the same way, in my opinion. No matter WHAT I see her in--she's still....Julia Roberts.

3. I'm with you--she is sooooooooooooooooooo bad as an actress...
...I hope he means he likes her body. As long as it's a mindless infatuation based only on physical appearance, that's fine with me. But if it's because he thinks she even has one grain of talent, then I draw the line!!!!!!!!!!!!

12. I've always liked her because...
She isn't all "starletty." She often looks like the sort of attractive person one might actually meet, rather than the overpolished manniquins so often seen on the silver screen.

And I agree she doesn't so much at as she applies the same role to whatever script she's on at the time. Either you like that role or you don't. Lots of "actors" are like that.
