There is a total power blackout in Iraq today due to the attacks on the pipelines. I guess the GreenZone has its own generators.

1. Wow

2. Somewhat related...
The money that the Bush administration wants to shift in Iraq will come from the sewer, water, and power reconstruction projects and go towards more security, including security for the pipelines.

How will the Iraqis take it when the US stops the reconstruction that they promised and that is supposed to make life easier for Iraqis and to win support for America?
