Poll question: Rachael Ray: Love Her or Hate Her?

Simple question, simple answers...

She's grown on me, she's what the mute button was invented for...

1. She's so not my type but I like her...
She's like the female friend who I'd want to set up with a guy who'll treat her nicely.

3. Sign me up!!!
Love the 30 minute meals!

$40 a Day as a concept is nice, but if you take that show too literally, you'll get pissed off.

She's cute, she seems as though she has some brain cells, and she loved Austin when she visited. A guy can dream, no?

However, after seeing several of the $40 a Day shows, there is no way she can eat all of that food she orders and stay slim! I'll bet she only eats a few bites of what she gets...

17. With the "mute" button, or without?
With no sound, thumbs up. With sound, I prefer thumbs jabbed deep into my ears, seeking to rip out the hearing apparatus in order to spare me any further exposure to that horrific, piercing harpie shriek she calls a voice.

18. Hate her
She's so damn cheap on that $40 a day show
She never tips and I bet she really gets all that food for free or at least they give her a discount b/c the channel is really promoting all the restaurants she goes into to.

21. Have you seen her wash her hands?
I'd never ever eat her food just for that reason. Makes me wanna gag. She gets soap on her hands and immediately puts them under water and rinses. Unless you suds up for 10-30 seconds, depending on who you ask, and then rinse with warm water, then EWWW.

23. that's the way you have to do it in the food service industry
there's literally no time to be standing about washing your hands for five minutes willy-nilly. It's soap up your hands, and then rub them together under warm water. Then get back to chopping the vegetables or prepping the entrees. That's just the way it goes.

Don't give me that cop out. Tell me where you were you saw this, and I'll be sure never to eat there. And 10-30 seconds is not hard nor is it five minutes!

27. That doesnt sound sanitary to me honestly
Washing with warm water and soap is recommended procedure in the restaurant industry, if that's true about her hygiene, Ive never seen her show but if it is, it's bad hygiene, I myself have never worked in a restaurant but both my parents have waited tables at one point so I know the gimmicks of the shit.

22. Giada DeLaurentis is SO much better....
Edited on Tue Sep-14-04 08:57 PM by KzooDem
It's obvious Rachel didn't get her show because she knows a lot about food, but rather beacuse of her perky attitude and perky tits. If you're not a serious foodie and you don't take her too seriously, the show is somewhat bearable.

Now who I really enjoy is Giada DeLaurentis. She does an Italian cooking show. She knows food, ingredients, processes AND she is hot (I may be gay, but I still think I know what qualifies a woman as "hot" and I think lots of straight guys would say Giada is hot.)

She's definitely pretty, but I've never seen the show and don't know much of anything else about her so can't really say. If I found out she was a liberal, though, that might be enough to sway me. haha

39. What she doesn't realize is that you can use a bag
that you were planning to throw out (like the bag that held the vegetables or something) as a garbage BAG, and then you don't even have a bowl to wash...

40. I think she's really cute.
I like her show and I think she makes food that's pretty easy to prepare and isn't too intimidating. I'm not exactly a gourmet chef, so I'm probably not the person to judge that, but I like it. :)

I like people who are upbeat and energetic. It makes me feel positive.

42. Fence-sitter.
Like most of her recipes, love her retro-stove, and she's pretty cute.

But she's uber-perky, overuses words like 'groovy' and 'cool', and has an odd desire to carry enormous stacks of ingrediants rather than making 2 trips.
