Help solve a mail mystery.
My good friend's husband got a notice from the post office that he had a package or had to sign something or whatever - he had to go to the post office to pick it up. It turned out to be a package from some guy in Mexico. Had the guy's name and address. Inside was a big prescription of Viagra. He has no idea why he would be getting Viagra and says he sure didn't order it (wife confirms there is no need for it). His first thought was somebody had his credit card and the prescription was sent to the billing address accidentally but has been checking his credit cards and so far nothing. He was leaving to go talk to the post office the last I heard. Kinda spazzed him out and wondered if he would be getting cocaine next. Anybody know what the heck is going on? Is it just a joke somebody is playing?

1. I have no idea
But if I got a package from someone I didn't know in Mexico, I would NOT open it. I wouldn't expect cocaine, by the way, not from Mexico, but pot's a possibility.

2. "This One Time, In My Freshman Dorm..."
the guy across the hall received a big box of neckties he hadn't ordered -- dozens of them -- and knew nothing about. Had no idea what to do with them.

Eventually, he received a letter from a relative of his who wanted him to SELL the ties -- in college in 1972, no less. Sending the ties in advance was his way of jump-starting the process. Good thing, because they almost got tossed out or given to charity.

As far as the Viagra goes, it might be worth doing a little taste-testing (or nose testing) to make sure it really IS Viagra. And either way, DON'T throw it out. Whoever this dude is in Mexico might want it back. Angering a strange Viagra-mailing dude in Mexico might be risky, you never know.

3. My pharmacy mixed up my RX with someone else's Viagra RX
Got home, opened it up the next morning and thought "Hmmmmmm, those don't look like my regular meds." Looked at the bottle and it said Viagra! Upon closer inspection I noticed the problem: the REAL Viagra guy and I shared the same first name, same middle initial and our last names were different only by one letter.

I took them back to the pharmacy and they were mortified. The other guy hadn't been in to pick up his order yet, so disaster was averted: he would have been in for a shock when he popped one of my Ritalin in anticipation of ....er......well, you know!

5. Only thing about this guy
is that he takes no other medications so he wouldn't have been ordering anything from a pharmacy. He is just curious about who paid for the pills and how his name and address got involved.
