But it's hilarious! PLEASE! This is truly a funny, um, thing. There was even a story about Cornholeing in Punta Gorda, Florida a few months ago! People were described as having a jolly old time doing this "activity". It was written, I hope, in a joking way but one never knows...

They've been calling beanbag toss this in southwestern Ohio for two or three years now. The first time I saw a sign along the side of the road that said 'cornhole games here Saturday, $5.00 per person' I literally almost had to pull off the side of the road. I didn't know whether to laugh or beat my head on the steering wheel. I was afraid I'd set off the airbag, so I eventually laughed. Still.

If anybody wonders how Ohio people can be clueless enough to vote for Bush*, here's your answer -- they call beanbag toss 'cornhole,' and from all indications, they have no freakin' idea what cornhole actually means. If they do, they're even stupider than I think -- and I think people who call beanbag toss 'cornhole' are pretty goddamn stupid.

7. It's real big on the west side of Cincinnati - actually it's a good

substitute for horseshoes at back yard picnics. It is so-called because the bean bags are filled with corn kernels instead of beans and the double meaning name is part of the attraction.
