Were you better looking when you were a kid....
or did you "grow" into your looks?

I was NOT a cute kid, not by any stretch of the imagination. But I think I grew into my looks.

3. Depends on when you ask...
I was cute when I was little. I was not attractive in my late teens and early 20s. But I think I've gotten better in the last couple of years...I lost a lot of weight and it completely changed the shape of my face.

4. I was the opposite.
Cute kid, but I went though a small awkward phase in early teens, looked really good for awhile, then got married, lazy and fat.

5. I was too skinny when I was a kid (m)
other kids used to make fun of me - they called me spaghetti girl because I had long blonde hair and long skinny arms and legs.

But as I got older and wasn't quite a skinny I looked pretty good.

6. I grew a whole lot more confident...
I got over being short, having fuzzy hair and wearing glasses -- I'm still short, bespectacled and frizzy, but I embrace that now (and can at least tame the frizz if it's not too humid out).

I know some people think I'm weird-looking or plain or whatever; others think I'm cute, others have a thing for bookish chicks...It works out well.

I was a cute little kid but an extremely awkward adolescent. I think I objectively look better now than I did at 15, even independent of confidence issues.

7. I was way overweight
as a kid, however lost it in my mid teen years. I think I grew into my looks, didn't really change much. At least my daughter will know what she will look like when she grows up, she looks just like me, except for the eye color.

GEP

11. Holding bottles of Blatz beer never makes anyone look pretty.
Just my .02, guy. :-)

Otherwise, I'd better not say anymore. You might get the wrong idea. :-)

9. I was very cute, but I never thought I was.
When I was little, my mom used to tell me how chubby I was and other criticisms, but when I look at pictures when I was young, I'm not really chubby at all. Not skinny, but not all that chubby either. I was adorable really. Much more so than I thought at the time. I'm still reasonably cute I suppose, probably still more so than I think most of the time. :D

10. I guess I grew into my looks.
People say I'm attractive now, but I was so NOT attractive as a kid. I was even ranked as the second least attractive person in my freshman class. And this was a magnet for smart kids!

18. i was geekily awkward when i entered high school
very short, kind of chubby, stupid glasses, a very awkward early teenage experience

once i got out of high school, i was 6'2", in shape, and lookin not too bad if i say so myself

i've got good genes in my family so i'd like to think that this will continue

i had female classmates comment on how handsome or sexy my father is (and he's 53!)

looking at pictures of him when he was little and me when i was little you can barely tell us apart, so here's to hoping!
