Poll question: How bad is your luggage?

How is it? Too heavy?

2. I can't seem to go out of town for an overnight without packing

as if I'll be away for weeks. I don't know why this is. I first pack a pair of pants and a shirt, then I think, well maybe it'll be chilly. So I throw in a sweater. Then I think, well if it's chilly, clearly I'll need other shoes besides these sandals. So I throw in a pair of shoes. Then I think, but what if it's actually really hot? So I throw in a sundress. It never ends. Are all women like this or am I crazy?

3. It's not only women -- I'm a guy and I overpack too!

Excluding the sundress, of course. :evingrin:

My wife often reminds me, "We're only going for two nights, honey." In the meantime, I've been loading up six pairs of socks and underwear, enough t-shirts for two weeks, and jackets for every climate and occasion. And I pack up my bathroom kit as if I'm going to be on a deserted isle for an indeterminate length of time.

Lately, though, I've begun to make a packing list a few days before we leave -- specific things to bring, etc. This seems to help somewhat.

Okay that makes me feel better. :) At least your wife is more sensible (as is my BF) or else you'd have to take a trunk with you every time you go anywhere!
