3. I thought it was really good.
I've never read the comic, but the movie is a great bit of mindless entertainment. It's like a cross between "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Men In Black", and "X-Men".

4. I loved Hellboy, mainly because of the cast!!
I mean, all these recent superheros showing up on the silver screen has some big name movie star taking on the role of the Super Hero. It almost seems like if you start making over $20mil a picture then you have to star in at least one superhero movie (I'm talking about you Ben Affleck and Halle Barry).

But Hellboy really didn't have any big name actors in it. I mean, Ron Perleman, what has he done of importance since "Beauty and the Beast" TV-Series and yet he was fit to a "T" as Hellboy. I also thought that Selma Blair did a great job of the sensive/fiery Liz Sherman. The best thing is the director (whose name I forget) did a great job of trying to stick to the comic book story instead of creating something 'new & improved' for the big screen.

Seriously, this is one of the best for comicbook movies and as a rule I usually stay away from those types of movies!

7. Those are his horns that he sands down to blend in better.
If Superman can put on some glasses and blend in, then Hellboy can cut off his horns and blend in just as well, right?

8. Would you believe it wasn't David Hyde Pierce?
I spent the first bit of the movie trying to place the voice, then I finally said, Of course, Niles! So I looked for his name in the credits, and it wasn't him! He was played by a guy named Doug Jones. The vocal similarity was uncanny, though.

19. This "Doug Jones" person must have been the guy in the suit

because I'm positive that was Niles' voice. IMDB could probably prove it.

On Edit: Yep, that was him. His voice went uncredited, according to IMDB.
