Anyone know good headsets for wearing to bed?
I'm looking for some sort of headphones for cd player that I can comfortably wear to fall asleep with.. I've tried so many, but they all take holding head in some uncomfortable position for the speaker bits to not fall away from ears, or their lumpyness makes it impossible to lay comforably. Something with flat ear-bits I imagine, and the bit holding them together somewhere it wouldn't be bumping under my head.

1. the hook kind that go over the ears are what I use.
kind of like beads, but with a soft rubber hook....

(gotta love mom who put me to sleep with music from the day she brought me home... and momma-in-law who kept the house totally silent while Mr. Pcat went to sleep.... and he's a light sleeper thanks to the Army, anyway...)

They don't stay on, so don't expect to use them as an alarm clock.... *sigh*

2. I've seen a pillow speaker that might be worth looking at (Sharper Image)
I don't own one, but might consider it:

Seems like it would be more comfortable than earphones.

8. I make my el-cheapo version of that
by popping the ear-pieces off of cheap headphones and putting them under my pillow. Actually, I put them between my two flat down pillows.

3. I use TDK earbuds
They have soft rubber covers, and are small enough to fit comfortably inside the ear, and the quality is great. You can lie on your side and not even feel them. Best of all, they only cost about seven bucks. They may have them on hand at Wallyworld.

4. I listen to audio books
to get myself to sleep. I find the earbuds to be the most comfortable to fall asleep in.

5. get earbuds at any dollar store near you
they're not bad, and you're falling asleep anyway.

7. me?
hey, it is me.

Um, not terribly. I'd never thought about using earbuds. I could never stand them for most of the time, cause of 1. They don't stay in, and 2. They go inside, which means they get wax on them, and it doesn't come off well, especially on ones with fabric on them. However, for sleeping, I'll have to try. The other thing, that pillow.. eh.. I'm particular about my pillows, I can never get comfortable as is. If it's a good density pillow though, I guess it could be all right. I wonder if it would be audible if not on my side.

Sooo, no, not really.
