My anti-Bush shirt scored me a free CD at Best Buy last night!

I was there at midnight last night to get the Star Wars DVDs (which was awesome, btw. Hundreds of people showed up, Stormtroopers were working line security, and Boba Fett told me not to cut or he'd vaporize me!:bounce:) Anyway, inside the store the line snaked past a couple tables with various CDs and DVDs on them, and the guy working the CD table told me how much he liked my shirt. I half-jokingly asked him if that meant I got a discount on the DVD, and he said "No, but it does get you a free CD." Cool! Hating America pays off once again! (It was a crappy "Essential Rock" CD that I think was free anyway, but it's the principle of the thing, right?)

2. Costumed security guards are always fun

At a local sci-fi convention a couple years back, we had a Klingon working the line for James "Scotty" Doohan's booth. Some people tried to cut (they were confused about where the line started), and he corrected them. When he came back near be, I looked at him and said, "Line cutters have no honor!"

He just rolled his eyes. Feeb.
