OUCH! I just tripped and hurt myself!

I was carrying a big box out the back door at work, and my ankle gave out on the step! A bunch of people from the adjacent building saw me go down. How embarrassing! My ankle hurts, but my pride hurts more.

After a couple of beers you really shouldn't give a shit any more. Just wait until you get home before you take my advice.

4. I took a hard fall on Saturday . . .
it was raining, and I was hurrying, and when I stepped up onto a high curb, my right leg (on which I wear a brace) dragged a bit, my toe hit the curb, and I went down . . . hard . . . banged up my ankle and knee, and sprained the thumb on my left hand trying to break the fall . . . still hurts . . .

5. Sorry to hear.
I'm scratched up/bruised myself. I hit the concrete hard. We need clothing with built in air bags! ;)
