And you thought YOUR prom dress was bad...

:scared: This makes the bridesmaid dresses I've seen look good.

3. That is truly godawful
:puke:
Mine was quite cool; a '20s era flapper dress (no one is surprised here). I wish I could find some of my pics.

7. how cool
my mom made mine... it was pretty good for the 70s. But not as scary as the one pictured. I bet you had really good music at your prom as well. Too bad I couldn't have graduated a few years later with punk music. My high school had terrible music taste, with the exception of the jazz band.

8. Ha! There was no such thing as good music at a prom in 1986
Basically was stuff like "Don't You Forget About Me" and "Rock Me Amadeus." :puke:

13. well
we had We Shall Never Pass This Way Again and Diamond Reo... local band and they are still around!

Actually, I kind of have a soft spot for "Don't You Forget About Me" - must be my then crush on the Judd Nelson character in the Breakfast Club. Don't tell anyone. ;)

Generally I have hipster- type music taste, but I am a softy for some stuff that would destroy my "indie cred."

15. "Don't You Forget About Me" was the highlight
I've repressed the rest of the repertoire. ;)

The night was fun, though. A bunch of us went to Ray's Boathouse for dinner and had a generally great time.

I can't imagine actually suing a baker, though. I would just move on and laugh about it later.

21. ooooh that cake looks.....sad
I've never seen a cake *quite* like that before, and I went to culinary school for 2 years and saw some doozies...but at least all of ours were, at the minimum, upright.

23. OMG.. what a nightmare
Wedding cakes are EXPENSIVE. I'm not surprised she went to court for that piece of crap. A little kid could do a better job than that.
