What if you wake up on the morning of November 3rd to find your worst nightmare came true...
What is the first thing you would do? Would you immediately file for Canadian citizenship? Would you rip all the hairs from your scalp while phoning every political figure who will answer? Or...would you just lay down on I95 and pray that sweet death comes swiftly?
After such a politically hectic campaign, how could one just bow to defeat?
Do you think there will be severe repercussions from Americans who "lost"? I don't mean to sound pessimistic, it's just something I fret about.
4. I'm looking into emigrating no matter who wins.
It doesn't matter who's president - civil war is already brewing, and I don't feel like spending the rest of my life fighting culture battles with idiots any more than I feel like re-fighting the '30s labor battles (which America desperately needs to do). There are plenty of countries that already have the kind of public policy that I want to live with. Why struggle? Sentimental attachment to a peice of real estate?
