Poll question: How many times do you hit the snooze button?
On average, how many times do you hit the snooze button? Mine is 2.

But this morning, I hit it for an hour and ten minutes - which means I hit it EIGHT TIMES!!

Answer the poll on average, but post your record in a message...

1. Never. I rise and greet the day with a breath of fire.
Literally. After a night of sleep, I really need a cigarette.

8. So you just let your hacking wake you up...
I can see how that would work!

2. Zero. I have my morning ritual planned to allow for maximum sleep-time.
Hitting the snooze would throw me off and make me late for work.

3. As many as it takes!
My latest problem is the "off" button is right beside the "snooze" button. Waking up at 9:30 is not good when I'm supposed to be at work at 9:00!

4. I jump right into the day...but only because my child wakes me.
Otherwise, I'd be in bed till noon.

I hop out of bed, but I wouldn't necessarily say I'm ready for the day.

14. That's very impressive.
Do you always go to bed at the same time? I think that's my problem - I don't have a set bedtime...

16. Yep. I always go to bed at 8:30.
I know, that's so strange. But I'm up at 4:00AM. :-)

17. I get up at 4:30. But I always stay up late waiting for the Daily Show.
I keep telling myself to wait for the rerun the next AM, but I just can't help myself....sigh. :hi:

18. I just can't stay up until 10 for the Daily Show.
I know...everyone else here watches it at that time. But that's 90 minutes past my bedtime. :-)

7. Change my vote
Move one from "Hop right up" to "use internal clock.

I had to get up at 5:00 for about five years. I hate the sound of the alarm so I'd always wake up right before the alarm went off, down almost to the minute. Finally I quit setting the alarm at all. This worked even one time when I came home at 3:00 and slept in my clothes.

Not totally a good thing. Some nights I only get 3-5 hours of good sleep.

10. first alarm goes off at 3:50 a.m.
if I hit the snooze three times I get up at 4:11, let the demon chihuahua out of her "den" and have rollypolly licky morning greetings with the Jazz cat and chihuahua (Jazz and Tinkerbell, siamese potbellied chihuahua piglets separated at birth) for five minutes. Usually by then I can smell the coffee and get into the kitchen by 4:30. Then I feed the rest of the house critters and spouse, piss and moan about world events, throw myself together and eventually get out the door to the gym and on to work by 5:30.

On the plus side - I get to enjoy my afternoons!

15. Never
I just don't have the time. The alarm goes off and I'm up like a rocket. I have to be. Working 2 jobs doesn't allow me much snooze time I'm afraid.

19. as disgusting as it is...
my internal alarm wakes me and I am pretty much ready to go at that point. I haven't even USED an alarm clock (except as a 'just in case') for years...it's almost a curse. I wake up every morning between 4:00 and 4:30...my body even adjusts for daylight savings...weird...
