How to post images. Be warned I am a mac user.

1. just copy and paste the url of the pic location-no html needed
does mac let you copy and paste? :P

2. the problem I'm having
is that the image is on my hard-drive and I'm supposed to upload it to the internet before I can post... I think... only I'm having trouble with the up loading part.

I can copy/paste but it's not working.

Any thoughts?

4. Yes, it has to be on a webserver somewhere first.
Your isp might have some space you can use, or you can use any of a number of free servers like http://www.photodump.com/ (just an example) to host your files.

Some free servers like geoshitties and tripod are blocked by DU, though. You may have to experiment a little.

3. Control-click on the image and pick "open in new window" to get the url
and then copy-paste that to your DU post.

Windoze users right-click on the image and "get properties" to find out the url.
