Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots blew me away...
Wow.

You know that feeling you got when you first heard Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, or The White Album? When I first listened to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, the latest (albeit 2 year-old) album from The Flaming Lips, I had a similar feeling... but with more gusto, more energy... just more mind-blowing than DSotM could ever be.

If you don't have this album, and you enjoy music... GET IT NOW!!! To paraphrase this monkey that I know, you will be in shock and in awe.

As soon as I get the dough to buy it, the next item on my list is Zaireeka by The Flaming Lips.

3. I'm regretting now I didn't shell out the extra $8 for the DVD
There must be so many wonders on the DVD. Oh well.

6. Actually, yes.
I have an old boombox, my computer. my DVD player, and then my stereo.

Albeit, they're not in the same room, but I've heard that enhances the effect.
