1. You are not alone
I'm a lesbian and gay fan. I'd like to see those folks endowed with all the rights that hetero couples have.

2. Absolutely
What pisses me off are those people who shovel the crap that extending the right to marry to gay couples will somehow diminish the value or sanctity of hetero marriages.

This is obviously a civil and human rights issue.

Gays in this country are denied the full protections inherent in those rights.

If gays could marry, someone explain to me why hetero couples are put at a disadvantage or how their own marriages would come under assault.

Depute the right wing rhetoric, none of them could come up with that answer.

That's why their argument is completely bogus.

BTW, I'm against gay only civil unions. Do heteros get civil unions? I really don't know. I think that it's a cop out and a delay tactic and it smacks of Jim Crow-like separate but equal discrimination.

Only full marriage rights for all is acceptable in my opinion.

4. I'm heterosexual, been married 43 years
to the same person and I can't figure out how gay marriages will affect my marriage.
What does affect heterosexual marriages are these factors: Drugs, alcoholism, spousal abuse, poverty, adultery and last but not least, divorce.

5. Ok I'll admit it
though it's no secret, here or in my real life: I am a big fan of homosexuals. I adore them. I mean I like MOST people (except conservatives the greedy bastards) but I seem to have a soft spot for homosexuals.

I want Will on Will and Grace to be MY BEST FRIEND. I am highly jealous of Grace. He needs to drop that whiney girl.

Anywho.

It TOTALLY PISSES ME OFF THAT THEY DON'T HAVE FULL RIGHTS!!! I mean FULL rights, not this civil union pansy ass crapola. That's crap.

And I'm tired of lip service. I want them to have EVERY right I have and I want them to have them NOW.

I'm also tired of heteros who will admit to ME they support LGBT rights but when faced with a little debate over cocktails with people who don't, they go all clam-mouthed and sit on their hands and say nothing.

DAMMIT.
