NYC Dinner for DUers

Infomaniac and I have been talking back and forth about putting together a Dinner night out.

If you are in New York City, or will be next Thursday, September 23rd, then you are invited.

Where: Pheonix Garden chinese restaurant
When: 7pm, Thursday, September 23rd
Why: Because we really want to see you there

Please PM me or Infomaniac if you need to see the menu in advance. They do have Vegetarian and Vegan options on the menus.

Special Note (please, not to be abused):
If you would like to come but money is really a barrier, talk to me. We can discretely work something out. We would really like to see you there.

EDIT: ADDRESS = 242 East 40th Street, Manhattan, between 2nd and 3rd. (That's kind of important! Doh!)

2. The general impression

was that people didn't want weekend stuff except very occassionally.

But once we know who's interested we can certainly kick the idea around. Or we can simple make it a later evening dinner.

One way or another we'll accomodate.

I'm open to a later time since I often work until 9:00 p.m. If anyone does need to see the menu, you can view it at www.menupages.com. I'll be off the boards starting Saturday until Wednesday night since it looks like DH and I will be going to New Orleans after all. I look forward to seeing y'all.

I'd like to come but it's difficult. Any other parents interested in pooling $$$ for a sitter?

24. I'm not sure how to help with this.

At future dinners, if we can find a night when we can meet earlier maybe you can simply bring kids along. (I would have no problem with that, but I don't know how everyone else feels about kids.) 9:30 is definitely too late for young kids though. :(
