Ramsey & I shook John Edward's hand today
Edited on Sun Sep-19-04 03:21 PM by LynneSin
Went to his speech in Phoenixville, PA and it was a great speech. Senate Candidate Joe Hoeffel and US House candidate Lois Murphy were there to start things off. After a horrible day yesterday of major downpours, today it was 70 and not a cloud in the sky.

2. cool I heard about that
I would love to see either Kerry or Edwards speak, I canvassed for them yesterday in rain and in wind but it was worth it.

My younger sister got to shake Bill Clinton's hand once. It was back when he came to my little mountain town of 10,000 on a campaign stop for his reelection to proudly announce that he was introducing legislation setting aside a few hundred million dollars to help save my lake and preserve the local environment. I still remember him coming out of the helicopter on the field where I played soccer as a little kid. Ahhh, memories . . . i still remember that if my sister wasn't in front of me, I'd have been the one to shake his hand. ;(

So, how many politicians hands did I shake this weekend? Quite a few! Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Ann Richards, Ed Rendell and John Edwards.

10. Thanks for sharing!
They all look like such normal people! Up close and personal, like no one ever gets with bunnypants.

11. Some of those pictures we were right next to Edwards
We thought we were running late for the event and got stuck along the side of the event. It turns out we had the best place along the handshaking line.

BTW - here's things you need to know to enter a Kerry/Edwards event:

No Loyalty Oath
No seach of all your stuff
No screening to ensure you're a Bush Supporter

We had a great time tonight!!

12. No protesters either!
At least not many. I am not really counting the 10 pathetic "Doctors for Bush".

Everywhere Bush goes there are hundreds of protesters in their "first amendment zones"
