So, what do you think about the Kitty Kelly book?

I am about 500 pages into it, not as damning as it could be, but really makes the Bush family look weak, cowardly and hateful.

The total lack of empathy for those less fortunate is apparent throughout the book. A family of sociopaths through and through.

Poppy and W have a vendetta against the Yankee liberal, intellectual elite, due to their experiences at Andover and Yale. ESPECIALLY W. Even though they were privileged, they seemed to have major inferiority complexes. This seems to explain their hatred of the left and intellectualism in general.

Lots more, but I am wondering what others' impressions are. What stands out to you?

They ARE all that! Wacky, arrogant, useless flesh to boot...politically speaking. :)

2. Two things

Elitism and lack of empathy. I'm about 1/3 of the way through the book. I keep thinking, "These are not people I'd like to know."

3. They seem to be completely devoid of any positive qualities

whatsoever. I wonder where they would be without thier money and power?
