What a cutie, just like his parents! Reminds me of when my no-13-year-old son with a smart mouth looked like that and how much I wish he were that age again, sniff. Enjoy it while you can, because it goes SOOOOO quickly. Are you getting any sleep at all yet? What did you end up naming him?

I was up feeding him all night, of course--but I slept when he slept.

Hey, there is NOTHING like being mom to a new little boy. Are you nursing him? That was the most special time of my life.

38. I'm nursing him almost every second!

He's hungry! We just got don with a nearly hour session. He's finally satisfied. Maybe he'll o a whole 2 hours without being franticly hungry again.

But of course, I love it--and I know he'll be eating less often pretty soon.

42. While I was nursing my son...

sometimes I would have my mom watch him while I would sneak off to shop for groceries.

Once, at the grocery store, I heard a baby cry, so naturally my milk let down, and soaked through my pads, but since it's body temperature, I never felt it.

I ran into a friend, and she whispered to me, "Your milk is leaking."

I looked into my buggy at the gallon of milk, and said, "No it's not."

She pointed to my chest and said, "Oh yes it is."

We had the biggest laugh about that, and then I checked out quickly and went home to nurse my son.

Anyway, that's my funny nursing anecdote. :-)
