3. Interception Mike Green
Hahaha, Favre got picked by Mr. Irrelevant himself. The Bears offense is running over the Packers D - if it weren't for a stupid throw by Grossman the Bears would be up 14-3.

5. and now at halftime, it IS 14-3!
I am pulling for the Bears, although I picked GB for monetary reasons.

I figure everyone else picked GB too, so I can handle getting this one wrong.

Those cheeseheads smell moldy.

12. Same here
In my pool, I picked the Packers over the Bears at home simply because it's a "duh" pick. It's like picking the Lions to lose on the road (DOH!!)

Sometimes I feel bad rooting against the Packers because Ahman Green and Brett Favre are such nice guys, and Green Bay is the only publically owned major sports franchise in the US.

6. I considered it a tough call
I must point out that my gambling picks and my who-I-pull-for picks are often at odds. I hope the Saints DO win, although I hope no one picked them too, lol.

8. I think college sports is more corrupt than the pros
I can't watch them... all that rah-rah school spirit and cheesy marching band music... ewwww. But what you said about the refs makes sense. College sports is rotten at its core, almost as fixed as boxing. With jocks fighting for sports cars, cocaine parties, and easy scholarships, it can't be legit. That was the reason the NCAA was created, but it just is a front for the eastern media elite's faves. LSU is up against THAT.

13. S'all too true.....I'm just SICK over that loss...for many reasons....
.....we aren't gonna do anywhere near as well as we did last year...no QB and no offensive line...the defense held 'em to only 3pts. untill the 4th then completely fell apart...except for blockin' the extra point which tied the game...but the ref's called a personal foul and they got to kick it over....but the penalty was called on the guy that jumped up to block the kick...they never did explain that one either...bastards....so our season is finished for all intents and purposes. :puke:

Soooo I have resigned to not even bother...the older I've gotten...it's easy to see it IS all rigged as the officials have gotta be paid off to call bogus bullshit...seems everything is corrupted these days...and I mean EVERYTHING! :grr:

10. I do NOT pick based on emotion
With gambling, you MUST be objective. I love the Bears, have been a fan since my Dad lived in Chi-town in the early 80's... and my favorite team above them is only the Chargers. I HATE the fucking Packers. But they looked good against the Panthers (whom I picked last week), and I came within ONE game of winning $120.00. So I am being safe today.

As I said above, if the Bears win, it won't hurt me, because I figure everyone else in the pool picked GB as well.

No worries here!

11. I'd pick the Vikings over the Eagles.
Philly won't be able to stop our run. Moss is just the least of their worries.
