Why my neighbors must die die die
They have teenagers. Okay, so do I. Mine are in the house by 11 PM on the weekends, no exceptions. Theirs hang out in front of their house until 1 AM, getting drunk and destroying property up and down the street. THey particularly like destroying fences. I had to call the cops on the three times one night, and I HATE calling the cops on ANYONE. ARGGGGH!!! DIE, ROTTEN NEIGHBORS, DIE!

1. My Neighborhood Has Gone Down Hill AS Well - Here It Is The Rap Music
I call the cops regularly and I am not reluctant to get in these kids faces.

I have become the irritable old man with attitude. They are slowly learning not to mess with me.

Sad that it takes these actions to get through to the young kids these days.

2. I wish I could call the cops on my neighbors. I would have to
sue them for justice to prevail. Rotten, corrupt, Republican (mostly) bastards.

11. I have rotten neighbors on both sides and I wish they would move
Neither has too much respect for the property of others and their kids think my yard is part of their ball-playing field. There is a park 3 doors away and across the street but they can't seem to play over there. (????) And they'd rather flick their cigarette butts on my property than put them in an ashtray on their own property.

3. you could stand on your porch...
and wield your cane. Perhaps blast some Neil Diamond at them and watch them scatter.

5. No, not Neil Diamond.
Frank Sinatra. Kids really HATE him. I recall a few years ago some mall that was overrun by rowdy teens playing Frank Sinatra on the music system and voila! No more kids hanging out.

6. No, Igor Stravinsky
"The Rite of Spring" has a lot of annoying dissonances and odd rhythms (me likes) that the kids will HATE. If that doesn't work, then I suggest Webern or Schöenberg's atonal music - that would even piss off the dead.

7. camp
nah, the kids embrace the chairman of the board for kitsch value.

Maybe some Christopher Cross. No redeeming value there.

12. When my friends and I were growing up, we did lot's of things....
but we never destroyed propriety.

Yes, we did drink, and experiment w/mind altering substances, but never once, did we do anything that remotely bordered on wanton destruction. I will admit, we did break things, but we did go over and repair/or offer to have repaired what ever was broken.

We had fun, and lots of it, but destruction of property was out of the question.

I might suggest getting w/the parents, but if this is an ongoing thing, unfortunately, the police may be the only answer. I would avoid that at except as a last recourse, but you have the right to protect your property. With luck, you'll get an apology from the kids, and they will fix what they broke.

Good luck.....:D
