Green Acres is the place to be...
Green acres is the place to be
Farm living is the life for me
Land spreading out,
so far and wide
Keep Manhattan,
just give me that countryside.

New York is where I'd rather stay
I get allergic smelling hay
I just adore a penthouse view
Darling, I love you,
but give me Park Avenue.

The Chores!

The Stores!

Fresh air!

Times Square!

You are my wife.
Goodbye city life!
Green Acres, we are there!

i loved that show.

Of course we didn't have cable or internet porn back then.

2. Sounds silly but because of Eb's explanation to Lisa
on how to use the kitchen appliances without blowing the fuse (he had assigned each appliance a number from 1 through 5, and 5 was the limit before the fuse blew), my college roommate and I finally devised our own scheme for handling our apartment's incredibly bad circuitry.

Thank you, Eb, wherever you are!

4. Where's Eb? Tom Lester, the actor who played Eb...
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0504534/bio

Born on September 23, 1938 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was brought up on his grandfather's farm, shucking corn, fishing, hunting, and picking cotton. He graduated from the University of Mississippi, majoring in Chemistry. He taught science and biology at a school in Purcell, Oklahoma, before moving to Hollywood. Lester has remained single and spends his time between Laurel, Mississippi, and Hollywood. He speaks to youth groups and at religious gatherings at times about his faith. He's shared the stage three times with Billy Graham, and feels his notoriety from the show enables him to spread the word of God.

Owns a 250 acre timber farm in Vossburg, Mississippi. In 1997, he was selected as Mississippi's Wildlife Farmer Of The Year.

5. heh heh
I lived for 12 years in a place that I called "Green Acres" because of its eery resemblance to the broken down farm in the show. I still loved it better than the city, and miss it since I had to move to town 3 1/2 years ago.
