14. well, that sounds pretty good
...but what kind of relish? If it's sweet relish, hmmmm.

Mine: potatoes cooked to a T (not mushy), Best Food (Hellman's) mayo, hard-boiled eggs, diced dill pickles, dill weed, pepper, diced celery, diced sweet onion, a bit of celery seed, sliced olives, a short dab of mustard, a scant teaspoon sugar, and salt to taste. It's after my grandmother's New England style.

We could have a 'tato salad cookoff!

I'm using turkey pastrami, deli sliced swiss, Claussens sauerkraut, T. Marzetti's home style thousand island and Land-o-lakes unsalted buttah

Yum yum

Claussens sauerkraut is good! I used to make my own. Stunk up the house something awful though.

18. I have some Goldminer sourdo rye ...
..on top of my fridge right now. It's a little dry for cold sandwiches, but should soak up those kraut juices well.

21. These will be some untraditional sandwiches
i.e., I'm using turkey pastrami vs. corned beef.

No beef in my house. Nope. Don't do it

Besides, I love the thousand island.

I'll keep the Russian tip in my pocket

20. Thanks for the tip.
I've never used this bread before. But the ladies at the supermaket deli said that It would make great sandwiches.

I'll make sure to hit it with a little extra buttah

I'll lay down the 'kraut first while its cooking

Reuben sandwiches are my favorite type of sandwich. They are excellent with salt and vinegar chips, btw.
