"Can I Borrow Your Kroger Plus Card?"
For the second time, tonight, someone asked me that. Anyone else made squeamish by these requests, considering all your purchases are being databased?

All you have to do is give them your phone number if you forget your card. I still give them my phone number from my old apartment from years ago, and it still works.

I stopped shopping at our Kroger-owned QFC when they brought those out. I still go to Safeway for my cat litter and stuff, but I hate those freaking cards.

5. As someone who used to work at Albertson's...
They really don't care if you put fake information... just put a number you can remember, and use that!

9. Someone talked about swapping cards
there is someone out there who swaps Kroger cards with everyone he meets, screwing up the database with registered shoppers bouncing all around the country I think it might be a standup comic
