Japan DUers: curry pan (bread) ?

This is what happens when you spend your time as a military kid in japan--I totally missed out on curry bread :evilgrin: How is it/ what flavors are there? I'm asking because I'll be there quite soon, and it's making me hungry!!! :bounce:

What is curry bread? Do you buy it at pastry shops?

2. I don't know about Japan,

but I occasionally buy masala tandoori naan, curry flavored indian flatbread at Trader Joe's here in San Diego and I love it.

In fact, since I had to get up to get the package to copy the name, I guess I'll have some right now. Yummmm!

3. You mean those rolls stuffed with curry sauce?

I'm sure they still exist, but I haven't gone looking for them. I got sick once on convenience store curry manju, so I've been wary of them ever since.

However, I belief that Mr. Donut here sells curry pan.

Actually, my must-have Japanese snack food is mizore no kaki-goori, shave ice with diluted honey syrup. It is THE BEST when you've been walking around in the heat.
