Hurricane lets alligator slip out
BBC News snip

Hunter David Hall has killed one alligator - but not Chucky

A half-ton alligator that escaped from a US zoo during Hurricane Ivan is hungry and capable of catching a man, zoo workers have warned.
The 14ft (4.2m) Chucky is worrying officials. They say he has not been fed for two days and he is not "happy".

As floodwaters poured through Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, up to nine alligators slipped out of their pens.

Some have been caught, but others are still out there, in the nearby murky coastal waters.

Alabama zoo director Patty Hall said normally Chucky is fed between three and six chickens a day. "As long as Chucky's been fed, Chucky's happy," Ms Hall told the Washington Post. "Right now I don't think he's happy."

Maybe Chucky's heading upstate to Florida for a little visit to Talahassee Governor's Residence....just in time for Sunday lunch?...
